Deborah Willard is Vice President for Asset Management, where she focuses her efforts on leasing of the Company's commercial and retail portfolio and asset value enhancement. She has an extensive career in property and asset management, spanning eighteen years, the last five with Matteson Realty Services, Inc. Prior to joining Matteson in 2001, Deborah was a key Project Manager for Spieker Properties (subsequently acquired by Equity Office Properties) overseeing the management and leasing of one million square feet of Class A commercial and retail properties in the Foster City and Redwood Shores area. Before her employment with Spieker, Deborah spent several years at Compass Management and Leasing in San Francisco overseeing a regional portfolio of properties consisting of one million square feet of office product owned and leased by the Bank of America. Her expertise includes management of extensive tenant improvement construction projects, complete building renovations, property marketing, lease negotiations and a comprehensive focus on daily property management functions.
Deborah received her CPM® designation (Certified Property Manager®) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) in 1995 and her RPA designation (Real Property Administrator) from Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) in 1992. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a triple major in Real Estate, Finance and Banking, and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in California.
